Cyanosis 2012 Golf Day Eagle Canyon Golf Estate

 

Team Cyanosis will be hosting their annual fund raising golf day on Tuesday 24 January 2012. 

Cyanosis Adventure Racing Team will again be heading off in February 2012 to compete in the Wenger Patagonia Expedition Race covering 720km in what has been named the ultimate endurance event and is well known as “The Last Wild Race” http://www.patagonianexpeditionrace.com/

 

The team has long been South Africa’s best Adventure Racing team and have dominated local events for the past 8 years.  Cyanosis will be sending one of their most experienced teams to the Patagonia Expedition Race to compete for a place on this prestigious podium.  Clinton Mackintosh, Nicholas Mulder, Jane Swarbreck & Ryno Griesel will be on the start line come February 14th 2012. 

 

The purpose of the golf day is to raise much needed funds to assist the team as they head off to represent South Africa at the 10th edition of the Wenger Patagonia Expedition Race.

      There are two ways in which you can support the team - 

1) By taking a four ball on the 24th January 2012 at a cost of R 2,500.00 per four ball (which includes all green fees, Golf Cart hire, Carvery dinner with guest speaker) 
2) By sponsoring a hole and having your company banners / logo’s on that particular green / tee box.  The cost to sponsor a hole would be R1,500.00 or R2,000.00 for the par three’s

 

Prizes from First Ascent, Salomon, Petzl, Foodstate and Specialized to name a few… 

 

We are currently finalizing this year’s guest speaker and from the number of individuals that have expressed interest to be part of the day you can be assured that we will be pulling another rabbit out of the hat. In 2009 we had Alex Harris who was very well received and in 2010 we had Pier Carter the Red Bull Trans Alps paraglider who had another remarkable race this year.

We expect to have the final tee sheets in the next few weeks and are planning for a full field of 120 golfers (30 four balls) with prizes for all golfers.
