Nic is the team captain and navigator. Nicholas joined adventure racing from an orienteering background, where he has been a multiple South African Champion. He has represented South Africa in various World Orienteering Championships to date and has recently been included in the 2009 SA team representing South Africa at the 2009 World Games, thereby earning him self a formidable reputation with map and compass. Other interests include river canoeing, mountain biking, trail running and rogaining. Nicholas has been a main member of the Cyanosis team since its formation in 2004.
